Chair 025 2023
I mainly designed a simple stool for cafes. The 25 Chair consists of a sitting stall, a lower body that can hold one or two books, and a 360-degree rotating hinge. You can sit in a stool and freely sway your body from side to side (about 25 degrees) while drinking coffee or reading a book. (The corner shape of the stall makes it uncomfortable for a person to sit at more than 25 degrees, inducing the body to move only left and right.)
The design is called "action-inducibility," which is a conceptual motif of affordance (usually called "action-inducibility"), and the concept is a fun element in which rotating hinge is inserted to move the body from side to side while drinking coffee or reading without realizing it.
